
- Conduct social and cognitive research on STEM education policies and practices.
- Conduct research to document practices and challenges in STEM teaching and learning in schools and colleges.
- Develop STEM/STEAM pedagogies and put them into practice in accordance with international standards.
- Strengthen the integration of technology in various educational programs and curricula offered in the country’s schools and colleges.
- Provide professional development for STEM teachers to help them gain STEM knowledge and experience.
- Encourage faculty, teachers, students, and others to become critical thinkers, innovators, and problem solvers by increasing their interest in STEM subjects.
- Promote the application of STEM innovations in the community through a partnership programme.
- Establish a network of STEM professionals both within and outside of Bhutan.
- Create a vibrant research culture among the college’s STEM faculty and student-teachers.
