Six faculty of Samtse College of Education (SCE) who had undergone Multimedia training in autumn 2022, conducted a training programme on creating and designing digital resources for STEM faculty members of SCE. The training was carried out on 25th March, 1st and 8th April 2023.
The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance the faculty’s knowledge and skills in creating and designing educational videos to enhance students’ learning. Some of the three days sessions included Script writing, Photography, Photoshop, video and sound recording, using Adobe Audition and Adobe Premier. Each day’s session was followed by take home task where participants in subjects groups were engaged in making a video lesson.
The participants found the use of terms and terminology, adobe audition, and adobe premier to create their own video lessons not only important for their own students but also for the larger audience. They communicated that to effectively create and implement educational videos in their respective subject area, more time is required.
The participants appreciated the hands-on approach of the workshop.
